I might be wrong, but I have Dutch stereotyped as very Nordic/CM/Faelid looking on average, while Belgians have more Alpines, Sub-nordids, and French or Central European looking people.

Austria and Switzerland are both very Alpine/Central European on average.

So I think there is more overlap between the later two.

I agree with most, only i will add that Alpine is not most common phenotype in Swiss nor here. Perhabs Belgiums Wallons have a higher frequency of Alpine than in Swiss and Austrians.

The Flemish and southern Dutch are the same people. They were part of the historical Flanders region. Belgium is as a whole more Germanic by Y-DNA than Switzerland or Austria. The Walloons are Romance speakers, but have a strong Germanic component from Frankish invaders.
