lol that's not true, most hungarians speaks rural accent. Peoples from Buda and from Pest city centre speak standard hungarian. Peoples from Pest suburban area + countryside use rural dialect very often.

I don't think there is a real accent difference anymore. (only in certain counties like Szabolcs). They don't talk any different in Szombathely than in Budapest. Only real difference is certain loanwords obviously.
And as I learned, the "standard accent" which is spoken almost everywhere is not from Budapest.

Random students from Szombathely. Some may even be from more rural areas... No real difference to standard Hungarian.

I was reffering to dialect.
Examples they are speaking about are really of minimal difference in my opinion and in most cases I think I have accent as the one they reffer to as correct one. Or I use both.

If you mean people who speak with a stereotypical broad Aussie accent, at least 1/3 of the country speaks like that.

Fairly common. Most people speak rigsdansk (standard Danish), which is a mixture of high and low københavnsk (Copenhagen dialect). Other dialects are dying out with the older generation.
