I was obviously talking about per capita, check the link again. How much the entire country gets is totally irrelevant, why would I want to talk about that? Poland is a country of almost 40 million of course it will get more money overall, however per capita Poles don't get more money from EU

Neither are bad sources.. Hungary above Greece, Poland above Portugal, Czecho-Slovakia above Spain and slightly below Italy. So yeah, PL-SVK-CZ-HU weren't poorer area than Southern Europe.

Poorer countries get more than they spend. How much depends on the size of the country. This is from 2018:
