I'd love for it to be renamed Constantinople but I don't give it a chance of happening. And it doesn't matter if Balkan people approve it, they have no connection to the City whatsoever.

That's right, and I don't see what Balkan people have to do with it. You can say Balkan Orthodoxes have a spiritual connection to the city and that's it, the rest don't even have that.

We learn Latin and Greek in Gymnasium as mandatory, but with focus on Latin. even in 8 year mandatory school, but not all schools.

So when we start learning Romance or Greek it's super easy.

I know tons of Greek words even if I don't speak Greek language, I could start writing and talking in 1-2 months if I wanted to.

Well, you shouldn't try to troll me. Bosniak curriculum has no special interest in either Greek or Latin instead they focus on Arabic and Turkish. Latin courses were elective in most, can be mandatory in some. Yet the same case applies Arabic also.

I don't remember anyone excited while the teacher introducing me to the students as I'm from Greece, but they were yelling random Turkish words when they hear that I'm a Turk. Neither Turkish nor Greek easy to learn, but Turkish is easier for a Bosniak thanks to cultural overlap. Claiming Greek is super-easy is fiction, don't forget with whom you are speaking lol.

On the other hand, I don't understand how you can promote Istanbul over Sarajevo. Even my preference would be Edirne over Istanbul in historical meaning.

I was referring the way Bosniensis commented, he said that (all) Balkan people would accept the name Constantinople again, as if it matters if any non-Greek Balkaner accepts or not. We are Balkans geographically, but we've traditionally engaged and been interested much more with the Mediterranean. So you could say we are Balkaners but we are Meditarraneans first and foremost.

Because Sarajevo is world unto it's own always complained about everything. In 1850 Omer Pasha Latas (Ottoman field marshal from my region) and people of my county as soldiers, captains etc.. we had to go there and kill most of Aghas, and Sarajevo Ottoman Royality who were rebellius.

Even to this day they hate us because of that and have general animosity towards Krajna People. They invest almost nothing in my region and they see us on par with Serbs and Croats.

One of Sarajevo citizen told to me: "You language doesn't sound like ours .. more like Serbian" ... and they see us as "untrusty" etc..

Latin and Greek are mandatory in Gymnasium, Turkish will be soon be in schools along side English. While I like Istanbul and Turkish people
I generally disagree about spreading that language deeper in Balkans cause it's obviously Central Asian in origin and we should all strive to keep traditional Balkan languages alive.

There is no such thing as Bosniak curriculum, people educate everywhere. It's just that schools have choice between Croatian, Serbian and Bosnian language (which is next level stupidity)
Some schools don't have ethnic tolerance, for which they are prosecuted by law, but those lawful ones have everything as described by the laws.

It is true that there are schools like Turkish College (and others) where you can learn Turkish and Arabic and recently all schools have some Turkish as well but there is a Classical Gymnasium as well where you can learn Latin and Greek.

Good thing is that you can choose.

Is it true that before the Turks the Byzantines used the word istanbul for constantinople? Istanbul means into the city or something like that, maybe a Greek can help out?

Turks took the word "Istanbul" from Armenians. (That was Armenian pronunciation of those Greek words).
