This i think, that will not happen my friend.Turks wants the hydrocarbons that lay little souther than Crete. But they have no legal right there. So in order to take what they can, they decided to support in military the Libya's UN-backed Government of National Accord (GNA).They did that, because they made a maritime deal with them, about establishing an Exclusive economic zone in the Mediterranean Sea.In other words propably war(if they managed to win haftar armies in libya).

The Turkey-Saraj agreement is an act of desperation on the Turkish diplomatic side. Turkey is using this to sell to its people that they have managed to do something. While in effect, the Lybian parliament did not ratify this agreement. Haftar does not acknowledge it. And it breaks every rule of international law. The US, EU, Israel, Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, Italy and anyone who is anyone declared that this treaty is not valid by any standard. And ever since, Greece signed East med treaty and just yesterday signed its first EEZ with Italy. Based on international law. Not to mention that they made contracts with international companies regarding the extraction of natural gas in the East Mediterranean.
Turkey is using aggression, because diplomatically they have no foot to stand on. Sending a ship to do research means nothing. As this is a process which takes years, and extracting gas can take decades. Not to mention that Turkey does not have the technology to do it. Nor will any company cooperate with Turkey. In fact, they will get sanctions for ignoring international law. And even in decades from now, Greece can take Turkey to court. But ofcourse Greece does have a capable military which by international law will be able to intervene. Greece's priority is to keep signing contracts based on international law.
Concerning Lybia. Lybia has EEZ with Malta and Sicily (Italy) as well. Not only with Greek islands (Crete). To argue that Islands (Crete) have no EEZ (as the Saraj Turkey agreement entails), you do not only deny Greece international law, but also Italy and Malta. And the EEZ treaty which has been signed by Greece and Italy also includes the Ionian islands and Sicily, as well as Crete. Saraj obviously has no objections towards EU, Greece and Italy. He just needed some support against Haftar. But once there is peace, either because Haftar wins, Saraj wins, or Lybia will be split, then the agreement which is worthless by any standards will also be thrown into the garbage. Until then, Erdogan will use it as an excuse to be a pain in the ass for Greece and show the Turkish voters what a great sultan he is.
