I am curious about your surname, must be only a casuality, there are a lot words/places names that can be similar in Spanish/Italian but not so many similar to Greeks.

Thanks for the info. Yes I've read that our name exists in small numbers in Turkey among Yörüks. Maybe that's the relation.
