I am curious about your surname, must be only a casuality, there are a lot words/places names that can be similar in Spanish/Italian but not so many similar to Greeks.

I would get Italy in some other maps if I remove the final -s.

Yes, seems pretty rare overall. Could be some family that moved around or just random Latin words (we used more Latin words in medieval and early modern Greece). I doubt I have Latin origin on my father's side (Northernish Greek rural background), Aromanian could be a case but I haven't spotted it amongst them or similar names in the Balkans.
