Montenegrins are Serbs, just as Austrians are Germans. Montenegrins, on Serbian Crnogorci, have always called themselves as Serbs, even Milo Djukanovic called himself as a Serb in the 1990s. Serbs and Montenegrins are the same as Germans and Austrians. Austria is separated from Germany, but it is inhabited by Austrians (Germans), as well as Montenegro ( Crna Gora ), it is separated from Serbia but it is inhabited by Montenegrins (Serbs)

You cant say Montenegrins are Serbs if you say Macedonians are not Bulgarians. Replace Montenegrin into Macedonian and Serbian into Bulgarian in the above mentioned comment. If we use that logic for everyone then that makes sense, otherwise no. You cant have your cake and eat it too!

Of course, its just logic that dictates that. It doesnt matter if "kosovians"(?) or who else, if you go by that logic all the time then its fine by me. If kosovo wanted their own identity why tf should i piss myself and cry about it? Even though they dont, if they did we wouldnt stop them. The difference is that Bulgarians are constant that we do not exist but Serbs sometimes admit that we are/were not Serbs.

I post a old pics of Macedonia during Serbian Kingdom, Skoplje restauration too, cuz i have a lot of them. Those who wants to be something else, they can be no one forbids him. But they can't change nor hide the truth. You can't compare Macedonia and Montenegro, they are different people, different country. I am not sure that Macedonians are of Bulgarian origin, but I am sure and I know that a lot of Montenegrins are Serbs.

Bulgarian claim for Ohrid, Skopje and Bitola are legit.
First of all, you need to understand the importance of states and state history when these stuff are being discussed. Even though they technically qualify to be Yugoslavians, the Bulgarians were not considered to be such because they had a state when no Slavic people had one. It is why, whereas even the Slovenian people who were part of the German HRE for 1000 years were given to Yugoslavia, Bulgarians were not Yugoslavians and never entered that category.

Keeping this in mind, Bulgarians have strong arguments to claim Northern Macedonia. Local Fyrom people are ethnically Bulgarians, they do not have any state or ethnic background separate from Bulgaria. Finally, the city of Ohrid served as the capital city of the old Bulgar state for a while.
Fyromians are even more Bulgarian than the Montenegrins are Serbs in that regard since Montenegrins still have centuries of history separate than Serbia, all the while Macedonian state is a recent fabrication.
