It's not that simple.
ANTIFA is a domestic terrorist organisation with roots going all the way back to Weimar Republic. It originated from Ernst Thälmann's KPD, they originally vowed to fight fascists, monarchists, and the ruling Social Democratic Party of Germany all the same. They also had chapters in the 1920s and 1930s in Italy and Spain respectively, both countries with a large fascist government. The different thinkers and writers who might have influenced them post-WW2 are Herbert Marcuse, Jacques Derrida, Michel Foucault and Theodor Adorno.
In the UK, the UAF and Hope Not Hate are Antifa groups which are directly funded by the state. Mainstream cabinet politicians attend their rallies. They are funded by billionaires and unions and even have Conservative party support. Almost all the members of Antifa groups come from rich families, mostly made up of yuppies and university toffs. There are are almost no working class people involved in Antifa, certainly not leadership. Green Parties on the other hand have their roots in the CND (Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament) and were devised by the KGB to infiltrate politics in the West.
In North America, Antifa evolved out of the anti-globalisation protests of the '90s, like the 1999 Seattle WTO protests. The roots are in the Black Bloc anarchist movement. It has been known for some time that American industry-funded groups have been infiltrating Canada and conducting the so-called indigenous protests and blockades. These blockades are being organised by groups such as Antifa, radical socialist workers unions, and unaffiliated ones like Red Braid. Most of these protesters are not natives but white, hijacking the cause for their own eco-socialist uses. These actions on the part of American money have been going on for years. The reason behind this is that the American oil industry does not want to compete with Canadian production. A simple example of this is Elizabeth May, who served as the leader of the Green Party. She is American by birth.
Generally it is designed to prevent working class revolt. Antifa targets legitimate working class grass roots groups. It even said on Antifa's website that you'd be paid for your time if you signed up and went to protests. Strange how an anti-government grass roots organisation of youths has money to do that, isn't it?
All the people in the organisation are getting paid up to $50,000 a pop to call shots, form strategies, drum up support and get people to show up at the right places. Outside of this group of paid professionals the rest are just idiots who think they are part of a grass roots movement.

Why is this important? For me it doesn't matter who are their leaders. All those conspiracies about Jews and so on. It matters that they create violence in the streets and they should be sanctioned.
