I thought neoliberalism refers to a type of economic liberalism embraced since the late 20th century by all establishment parties in the West. Personally I think it's an insult to the idea of liberalism to refer as such to the rabble in the streets today. There should be a new name for the ideology of the modern day diversity worshipers and negro fetishists in America and the West.

It does but since it is actually a shift away from Keynesian, I'm pretty sure, it has more in common with conservatism or old school libertarian economics such as the Austrian school but actually comes from the Chicago school which is linked back to Manchester England. I might be wrong but that is my interpretation.

All I know is that it's a free market capitalist form of economic liberalism and definitely doesn't have much in common with the "protestors" or any other far left people. I remember reading that it is for government regulations to some extent, so it differs from laissez faire liberalism or libertarianism too.

Right it does differ from laissez-faire but it seems to me it's pretty similar because government regulation does not seem to be that extensive but I could be wrong since I'm not an economist. I'm far from an expert on this.

I know that hardline libertarians don't like it. They want no regulations and as small a government as possible, but I think that is not good for society. I like a balance between individualism and collectivism which is why I don't like either libertarianism or socialism and communism or fascism either. The former is too individualistic and materialistic and ruthless about profits and eficiency tbh, while the latter ideologies are all about collectivism and no room for the individual and his rights.

I know I just meant that neo-liberalism is not Keynesian. Libetarians are almost anarchists

Well, on paper, at least, the final form of Communism is supposed to be stateless so it is the ultimate freedom theoretically. :

"The interference of the state power in social relations becomes superfluous in one sphere after another, and then ceases of itself. The government of persons is replaced by the administration of things and the direction of the processes of production. The state is not "abolished", it withers away." -- Friedrich Engels

"The society which organizes production anew on the basis of free and equal association of the producers will put the whole state machinery where it will then belong—into the museum of antiquities, next to the spinning wheel and the bronze ax." -- Friedrich Engels

Yes, these are utopian ideas. The Communists who gained power would never have allowed it to happen. Because power corrupts and it was too good for them to give up their power and privileges. Under communist rule you had a whole class of state and party bureaucrats, activists and high dignitaries who ensured that their children gained similar positions and these people would never have willingly gave up power.
