Dude, you are in the same position on both. Near English, Dutch & Danish and Irish & Scottish. Only North German appears much closer on K15. And West-Brittany on K15 is instead SW-English (Tolan liked French ref more).

Moreover Tolan tool is not real PCA like in PAST for example. We can better call it K15 plot not PCA.

It was never very accurate for me, I noticed back when it was new that it seemed recycled GEDmatch calculators plus some inaccurate PCA. Glad I never wasted a dime on it. If you wanna know your ancient ancestors, look what locals lived in your ancestral land(s).

Accuracy and any adna test is pretty mutually exclusive though. 23 is probably the most accurate imo and even then not that accurate in the end. That being said it's not really inaccurate for me from the context of closeness to populations. It recognizes me as a Celto-German which I am. I think looking for an absolute, sure its faulty and gimmicky but it has value for the fact you can easily compare distances to "historic populations".

I think it worked for him since he has relatively homogeneous background. With mixed background its less reliable, in my case MTA overlapped me 1:1 over the SW English sample while K15 plot placed me closer to Belgium and France.

I'm aware, just musing how his results say mostly the same thing on both coordinate planes while some people's will show difference.
