I don't care about floyd. Surely his death is wrong but since he died a lot of other tragedies have befallen our fellow featherless bipeds that the media does not deign to annoint as worthy to report.
You know what makes the George Floyd case special ? The media masters chose to focus on it.

Yes, his death is wrong. When people use statistics on black crime they are not justifying his death and if people think that then they suck at math. Maybe, some boneheads are trying to justify his death with statistics but that is not the point. YES ! However, he is just another meaningless statistic if i were not for the fact that Americans LIKE YOU SUCK AT MATH ! Do you know how many people the cops kill and the media chooses not to FOCUS on it ? The media focuses on individuals and drama because people are innumerate. How many times do I have to stress this point ? I'm not trying to justify Floyd's I'm just saying it is taken out of context in a myopic innumerate way when in reality he is just another statistic dude.

The ultimate cause and blame lies with the cop who through some act of showing off his machismo dominance by kneeling on his head and consequently killing him.
So far im not aware of any logical reason or justification as to why he needed to do that, he was being filmed doing it, it would have been uploaded to youtube and social media anyway and it would have become through those channels probably resulted in whats happening.
We are living in crazy times ... the covid 19 era has probably pushed up peoples edginess and mistrust of authorities more than usual.
Maybe the public reaction to this would not have been as extreme in a precovid world ...maybe.
Im no supporter of the way many of the protestors have chosen to do this ...but aside from how people may feel about GF ...imo oppinion that dickhead cop could have done that to anyone ... fuckwit cop is the issue not GF.

The cop education in this area in the US takes 10-11 weeks to complete. I don't know the exact education of these cops but looking at the videos they seemed amature. It explains something about the police culture as a whole in this area. Reminds me of some ignorant phsycopat security guards despereatly graving for power.
