We(Turks) are West Asians too, although we look a bit different than other West Asian peoples. Don't listen anti-Turkists and some Euro-wannabe Turks. Even you Georgians are closer to Europe(culturally, linguistically & geographically) than us Turks do. I'm not anti-Euro but we must accept the facts...

By the way, what caused your interest in this "West Asian" topic? I remember there is another guy from Georgia here with nick "user", and he always focuses on grouping Georgians with Europeans and not with West Asians.

Who cares about other, this dude just want to present all the people there. Georgians live like other Caucasians in Westasia.

Yes. there are many georgians who think they are of european origin. For me, im just georgian and geographically it belongs to west asia. our culture has both, european and asian influence.. so, i have no problem to be european or asian..

I had persian crush DDDDDDDDDD and i pretended to be part of her culture D georgians have this privilege. we can fit even in central asian culture DD We had too many influences.,

100% agree! I never claimed Georgians are Europeans but they're still more European-influenced than Turks. Both culturally & linguistically, I guess it's due to religion and the geography they live close to East European folks such as Russians & ancient Cossacks that lived in Caucasus.

And another reason is to build bridges to other people in the region where we actually live. Unfortunetely, because of russia, we have lost connections with other west asian people. and georgians dont have information about their actual neighbours. and the lack of information causes these stupid ,,we are european´ thing.

Yes i heard once that all Caucasians had a better relationship between themselve before russian conquest. The Same counts for Central asia
