Marriage with Turks - Opinions

Impressed by recent & ongoing racial discussions. What is your opinion on marrying to a turkish person?

In this case, i want to eliminate religion because it has no permanent effect on human. So you can consider the turkish person either secular or a member of your religion.

Only pure Mediterranean or Alpine types, with none or slight Asian influence.

Yeah, there is the religion difference, too. I wouldn't be happy to date a Muslim.

^ If the partner is Christian or secular, then I would have no real objections. But a relationship between a European woman, Christian or not, and a Muslim are unacceptable in principle. In fact: I actually think that such relationships should be BANNED BY LAW in order to protect European women and it should always be the foreigner that has to officially convert and culturally assimilate (including swearing an oath of loyalty to the country) if he were to pursue a relationship or marriage. The same applies if a woman of the Islamic "faith" would have the courage to be romantically involved: she will need to convert before getting their marriage license (in ondertrouw gaan).
