Why do most Amerindians of Latin America look so different from Siberians as day and night?

Like they look the polar opposite of one another. Is it because of natural selection due to warmer and hotter climates?

The only ones that look like seem to be Fuegians, some Pacifids (theres some in Mexico), many Andids and several Brazilids.

It’s weird. I don’t know why either. Siberians just look like Arctic shifted Mongols. Amerindians from LA could look different due to heat adaptations and they definitely look tropical somehow but it also doesn’t explain why northern Amerindians such as Lakota and First Nations also look quite different.

I think Alaskans are the only ones who even begin to approach the Eurasian Mongoloid look.

Yep. Like they look totally like different species of humanoid but are in fact genetically close to one another. Sort of like an elephant and hyrax as an analogy.

It’s as if Mother Nature has a sick sense of humor and deliberately blessed the majority of Amerindians with southern features aka brown, short and hilarious looking like Oompa loompas lol

Its not about looking psuedo Caucasoid. They just have this look which is totally unique to the New World.



8:10 for example. The guy with the gray hoodie has a face that is common among Chicanos/Mexican Americans but is not found outside the Americas.

The elder at 5:00 does have some psuedo Caucasoid features but it is very possible he is mixed. In any case, he does not look like any of the Caucasoid or Caucasoid leaning peoples of Eurasia.

Do you also consider Filipinos oriental? Who would you rather look closer to: Siberians or SE Asians? If I was Native, I rather look much closer to a Mongol/Turkic/Siberian than to a SE Asian/Filipino.

They are not similar at all. They are subtle differences that cause them to look very different overall.
