Although, there are even some wannabe Anglo first generation folks that forget their last name is Gutierrez who try and distance themselves from their culture and don't speak the language, so it depends.
A slight Spanish influence in English to me actually sounds quite sweet and cuddly, such as Larry in The Brothers Garcia.

Yeah, I always kind of wished that I had one of those cool accents Spanish speakers have when they speak English, like how my girlfriend or mom sounds....instead I sound like I'm named John Smith and from Ohio.

My Mum has much less of an accent than most other native Spanish-speakers I have met, regardless of how long they've lived in the UK or US.

Depends. Celia Cruz-type English is too extreme and ridiculous. In fact, despite knowing a reasonable amount of English she would often speak Spanish even in English-language shows like Sesame Street and The Oscars.

Yeah, obviously you want to be understood, not so thick that its incomprehensible. But like the accent Antonio Banderas has when he speaks English, something like that, sounds cool af.

Chicano, but only because it is the lesser of two evils. I really don't like jargons in general even though I might indulge in them from time to time.

Chicano. African American is used in a vulgar way nowadays even by whites which makes it lose its initial prestige.
