If people like the Assads were walking down the street anywhere in America people would just assume they're white, and to the US government they already are. I think this matter is much more fluid in real life than it is on the internet.

Well from a physical perspective, they ARE white. There is no white culture though. Because you can't judge someone by what's on the outside.
