Yes we call it a (tortilla de patatas) omelette of patatoes (tortilla española) Spanish omelette, olive oil is basic and if it is extra virgin the better.

Se come muy a menudo la tortilla española en Puerto Rico, hasta lentejas con chorizo ya que el chorizo es un alimento popular en la isla. Se me viene a la mente asimismo el caldo gallego que se come en ambos lugares
