Well. You can put it another way, with people who lived in the stone age, who did not know how to make metal tools

As civilizations spread from south to north (as warm living conditions were more suitable to ancient humans) ... that was pretty natural.
Not only in the area of Russia, but also in whole Europe. Even in South America original cultures were higher developed than those in North America.

I meant .... discreabing those people someway lower (as a humans) and giving idea (between the lines) that it was actually gift of god that slavics took their lands.

Any conquest is a sad phenomenon. For example, if the Huns did not destroy Gothia, then Gothia would be in place of Russia.

Yes, I agree ... but saying that ''sad'' is not enough. Just (empty) words.

Russians are experiencing a crisis, Orthodoxy is experiencing a crisis, a neo-pagan culture is emerging, a return to Finno-Ugric roots. Medieval cults that seemed destroyed under socialism are being revived. Regionalism is emerging, and people want to learn more about the history of their region. The images give rise to heroic images of commanders who fought against the expansion of Russia. These are Khan Kuchum in Siberia, Asika of Yugra, Shamil in the Caucasus, Stepan Mazepa in Ukraine. Belarusians return to their Baltic roots and cooperate with Lithuania and Latvia. Belarusians were also part of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania for a long time

Modern Russia is the political continuity of GD Moscow, but Russia as an entity (Kievan Rus') is older. There is no political continuity between Kievan Rus' and modern Russia, but Kievan Rus' was also Russia and a nation for Russians/Rus' people.

Was there a nation of Russian people? There were tribes that were loosely united for 100-200 years. As for the language, I agree that the Slavic language in Russia was the same Slavic language as in Poland.

As a Venetian i can thank Huns and Attila..

Venice was built by Veneto people who fled in the middle of LAGUNA because of the Huns and ATTILA.. ( an army of 500-600.000 ... brutal soldiers )

    No Attila No Venice..

Modern Russian is a different language from the common Slavic language used in Kievan Rus. It is also unclear why the numerous Finno-Ugric and Baltic peoples adopted the language of the small Slavs who migrated from Bohemia and Hungary. This is associated with Orthodoxy?

What are exactly these Finno -Ugric roots ?.. Legends ? Myths ? or old written text 1500-2000 years old ?
