The muslims are much more people and some are not to be underrated like Turkey for example who is in NATO and has NATO arms. But I think the Orthodox would win because Russia has nukes without nukes only conventional it is hard to tell. But maybe the muslims would win because they are much more people. Countries like Serbia or Macedonia or Bulgaria are very weak.

LOL, you are comparing Bosnian Muslims who are genetically and culturally same as Serbs/Croats and those from stoneage Middle East. BTW, Yugoslavian war was not real war, it was just a show which led to the collapse of all ex-Yu economies (that was real motive, not conquering of B&H/Croatia).

PS. I don't know how Serbia lost war in Bosnia when Serbs control around 50% of territory as 1/3 of population.

PPS. Serbia was attacked in WW1 by Austro-Hungary which was 11 times bigger than Serbia and still won.

I guess if Russia was willing to literally nuke the entire Middle-East with no opposition as someone suggested (and as a result turn the entire planet into a radioactive wasteland), the Orthodox world might win but I don't see the point since the outcome would be a brink of extinction.

In the way your formulate the question. I bet on the long run muslim would win due to many factors (numbers, money, higher youngs guys ready to fight...).
Except russia they aren't any very strong country ready to fight. Ukraina is weaken by civil war, Belarus political elite is close to fall.


But the modern arabs army (UEA, Saudi...) seems unable to do anything with their modern equipment (in Yemen for exemple) and they rely in on mercenary from central america to do the jobs...
If religion matters a lot I don't know if the strong christians columbians would fight against other christians.

For me the best muslim army is Iran, so in your scenari you put them along sunni country in an irealistic way.

Also most of the world population would have sympathy for the christians orthodox
