It's natural for us Filipino who wants to build a bridge with other people. I grew up with Mexicans, Puerto Ricans, Dominicans. my building headquarters is a neighbor to a Mexican restaurant with an Amerindian owner. Some of them even go to our Church. it's very natural for us to learn about the people we interact with.

I just wish many of them would look more unique and don't resemble SE Asians that much. I don't really have anything against SE Asians (I am from Thailand myself lol and live here more than half of my life including now) but I don't think SE Asian phenos are that attractive or good looking. Sorry if I sound self hating but I find NE Asian/Siberian, Caucasoid, Jomon/Ainu and even Negroid features a lot more attractive than SE Asian features.
