How are Pakistani people like?

I actually don't even know if I've ever meet a Paki guy, is it true they are very hospitable and nice people? Every country want's to rip off their tourists as hell, but it looks like not there, maybe it's because of the camera.
What are your experience guys with those people?

Heavily depends, but Pakistanis in Pakistan are generally supposed to be warm and welcoming people that place massive importance on family. You can also watch Mark Weins' videos on Pakistan, they are quite friendly.

The diaspora populations in the UK... are another story.

In the UK we have many Free Kashmiris from Mirpur. They form most of the Pakistanis in the country along with Pakistani Punjabis and some Mohajirs, but mostly Kashmiris. Mirpuris are the 'backwards' Pakistanis, with high rates of cousin marriage, rape, gang membership etc. Inbreeding is a big problem actually and there are children with deformities and genetic illnesses because of first cousin pairings, which most Mirpuris partake in. They generally don't value education much and prefer to live tribally, the stories everyone hears about the grooming gangs in Bradford and London all involve Mirpuris. Punjabis, Sindhis and Muhajirs are usually alright. My mother used to live in AJK in her teens and her experience was not a pleasant one, her family were not very accommodating

The US is more selective with its immigrants, not just anyone can get in. Pakistani-Americans are generally far more integrated and there are fewer Mirpuris.

Former neighbors here in USA [GA] were Paki immigrants. Seemed normal and nice enough. Friendlier and less snobby than the Indians in the neighborhood.


I understand this is a bit different from the way things tend to be in places like UK.

Pakistani americans that I've met have been nice. Generally hospitable and friendly.

Generally very conservative, traditional and tribalistic. However, contrary to some of the hysterical propaganda (not least on TA itself), most are harmless enough.

Used to hang out with a couple Paki's back in school (born and raised here in Aus) they were chill af and good company.

Indeed not fully Muslim Indians at all. But 78% are of Indo-Aryan(Punjabi, Sindhi, Muhajir) origin, 19% are Iranic(Pashtun, Baloch), 3% others. Also Indian is a nationality, not ethnicity. Pakistani identity is so also
