So paleo-balkanites were a mix between bronze age steppe people(clustering with north italians, s.french, n.iberians ) and local neolithic farmers clustering during Iron Age with bulgarians(like the dacian/getae or whatever samples from upper Romania/Moldova are).The extra steppe input first and foremost can also be explained by scythians/sarmatians or other ancient steppe tribes, whom the ancient authors wrote a lot(yet they never wrote about slavs, its like they never existed).Anyone with a few working neurons could've realized this.
