He's a local hero now and I'm sure he'll be offered another job soon. England outside of London is still okay...if you read the article, even the police supported him and offered their support, and told him he had done nothing wrong.

Where did he work, who was his employer? Why won't the public deal with this organization? Let all people quit from there, or ignore this company and do not use the services of this company.
If this does not happen, they will also dismiss people only for expressing their opinion.

Such companies should be boycotted by people.

He is a Welder, hopefully will manage to find work soon. It could be his employer was threatened or something. His girlfriend worked in a salon I think, and got fired for her crime of being his girlfriend..
