Archbishop Viganò just recently issued a criticism of the Second Vatican Council (Vatican II) using the language of: "a logical consequent effect in the doctrinal, moral, liturgical, and disciplinary deviations.” Importantly, Vigano has voiced his opinion against the so-called Hermeneutic of Continuity of Vatican 2 as a failed project. Catholics must now speak directly to the errors of Vatican II, namely: religious pluralism under the name of Ecumenism, Collegiality and Synodality, liturgical "customization", and a false ecclesiology that posits the "People of God" as a wider circle including the non-baptized as redeemed. Dr. Taylor Marshall provides the analysis of Vigano's statement and describes his similar journey in trying and then rejecting the Hermeneutic of Continuity.
