Just googled and he is proper Scottish, I assumed he was American - Mcintyre is apparently an Irish surname, brought to the Highlands.

So maybe an ancient Gael champion, rather than Pict. Can definitely see him with armour kicking ar'se though

Maybe could pass in Denmark or Norway as an ancient Paelo/Tydal type maybe, maybe south Germany too, no expert though
