Maybe China would try to get influence in their countries, but it won't threaten their sovereignty. And as sovereign nations, it's their choice if they want their country to be influenced by China or the EU/USA.

All I'll say is: in an ideal world, for sure each place should be leaved to be ruled by its locals, if you're in favor of either USA or China (or any other super power) holding lands of other people then you're in favor of globalist crap geopolitics that we live nowadays, every local culture being killed either by Hollywood faggotry or neo-Marxist "social reform".
