If all of you who have "alternative" coordinates and after that you get the official ones from Davidsky, could post your 10 first distances with both coordinates, running modern averages scaled calculator, please.
I am curious to know how they approached reality.
In any case, the method is supposed to consist of trying several different calculators and oracles, and here practically all of you have coordinates based on a single oracle of a single calculator.
Possibly if each one of you were making coordinates with this method and compared them with the real ones, some of the oracles would give a better match than the ones you have.
Or maybe we just happened to find the right mix of populations the first time.
In any case, what is inimitable from the real ones would be the distances, since the alternative coordinates, being made with means over references from the original datasheet, will always be excessively small.
