Yes there is a difference between proper roma and Irish travellers, who are the guys maraude around the countryside in modern caravans. The roma in the UK live in the cities

I don't think this concerns only one or the other but all of them under the same flag I know they are not the same it clearly says roma gypsy and travellers and it is the roma flag

Yes traditional roma gypsies have lived in UK for centuries, with the classic wooden caravan, though I have seen any of those since I was a kid. More recently roma from Eastern Europe have moved as well but live in the cities mainly.

For some reason the travelling community includes both roma and Irish travellers (who are 10x more numerous and problematic). I think this is simply a designation to have both under the same flag, as both groups receive so much prejudice. Tyson Fury is an Irish traveller btw
