Weapon Systems are more part of the tech industry these days, I dont see any potential in Russia for that industry.

Just like their space agency is the biggest joke if we compare achievements and stagnating tech the past 20years with their high budget.

But what in the unlikely event that the Turks and yanks deliberately set out to fuck over the Russians and trying to get their hands on their latest missile systems ? Then this is pretty much the scenario I would have dreamed up: "piss off" the other partners in the press (their governments are all in on the act and let's be honest: it's totally believable since we all hate this twat over in Ankara anyway and Turkish organisations and migrants themselves are not really making things better for Turkey's fucked up reputation...), the Russians want to sell their S-400 to force a wedge in NATO, Turkey/America bite and America "disowns" Turkey "blocking military tech exports to Turkey" which makes it all seem a lot more believable to Moscow who happily take the bait and when those S-400 arrive, Turkey and America "miraculously" "reconcile" and presto; we've got their new military hardware. It would make Putin look like a complete amateur- like a fish who just swam right into the bait.

If this is the case, then it's better than any Russian honey traps. Hell...that's the kind of sick shit I would have pulled - but I am a devious cunt. I am not sure how smart NATO top brass is.

What if the strength of Germany doesn't lie in the clear-cut military operations but basing American material and intelligence gathering ? That's what I suspect given the high level of integration between the BND and their U.S counterparts. I'd say that the time of pitched battles is behind us so we might only need one military capable of engaging in such operations while the rest works in intelligence gathering, application, innovation, commando tactics, supply dumps, naval and air operations,propaganda warfare and cyber warfare ?

If. But remember that that latest fighter plane isn't really going anywhere and India didn't even want to buy it. What if the S-500 which would only be deployed in very small numbers would also be a similar dead duck ?
