Victorians threatened with jail and fines

As you see on the news; Melbourne has been divided, with some suburbs with an increase of covid 19 cases returning back to stage 3 restrictions.

NSW is threatening Victorians with something like $10,000 fines and jail time if we cross the border into NSW. South Australia and Queensland have made similar attacks towards Victorians.

Victorians are currently seen as filthy by other states, after the spike in cases primarily in certain areas of Melbourne.

Who else feels disgusted by the way Victorians are being treated by other states? Aren't we a federation? They are behaving like a union of states, like what you see in the US or in Europe with the EU states.

As for NSW; They allowed an entire cruise ship full of people with Covid disembark in Sydney. Who then spread the virus. Complete negligence on their part. Yet they try play the high ground in this current situation.

They had 14 cases yesterday so they're not in the clear just yet. Hopefully things improve soon.

The whole thing is bemusing. My folks have a holiday booked for the Gold Coast in late August which is looking uncertain now, and they don't live anywhere near Melbourne.

I want to get rid of the states.
