Thread: Does this family look typical anywhere besides Northern Germany?

    Default Does this family look typical anywhere besides Northern Germany?

    They are an American family from rural Southeastern Georgia. Their last name, Plath, sounds really German but I am not sure if they are 100% German. From what I read on this forum, their phenotype (ash blond hair, pale blue eyes, rosy complexion etc) is fairly common among Northern Germans.
