Default Which European country is the most racially integrated?(France?) and which one the least?

I noticed that a lot of European societies are going through a multicultural transformation. What surprised me was that the French people I met had their minorities integrated into society. I've met student groups who were black, mulattos; the Maghreb mixed with whites. Moreover, I met middle to upper-middle-class french who visited big American cities for internships, and many had minority friends back in France. None of these people were poor since they had money to come to America.

Meanwhile, it seems that in other societies, whites and non-whites lived separated or stick to their groups. Even if there's no official segregation policy active, the USA might lie somewhere in between where the media hypes it up as if there are all these multicultural friend groups going on. However, the reality is much fuzzier. While there are multicultural groups, there are others who stick to their own, and that's it.

You could say that all Western countries, including the USA, are integrated to at least some extent at the very least. There is no social convention that separates racial and other groups so exclusively as that which used to keep some of the castes of India as strangers from one another.

France? lol no. I'd say the most racially integrated was the Netherlands before the mass arrival of Moroccans and other muslims.

Depends more on region than country. Lots of France is still very French while Paris, Marseilles, Nice etc (large cities mainly) are quite multicultural. Same goes for UK, London is very multicultural however if you go to the North of England or South-West there will be hardly any non-English. Noticed the same for Germany, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt and Berlin seemed quite multicultural but smaller towns in Southern and Eastern Germany are entirely homogeneous. In Sweden its more multicultural in cities like Stockholm, Göteborg and Malmö, whereas smaller towns are still Swedish. In Sweden 66% of the population live in towns with less than 100 000 people, so people visiting the larger cities don't get an accurate view of all of Swedish society, something similar also probably applies to other European nations. For example when I visited Brussels I'd just assume that Belgium is incredibly multicultural, but I doubt the rest of the country reflects the same demographics as Brussels.

I'd say the UK and France probably are the most "integrated" as its more common to see people of colour as Ministers/Government representatives. I wouldn't count Central/Eastern Europe as worst integrated, because they've got nothing to integrate. I'd say Italy, just because I've met many POC who say its more racist and when I was there it was clear which areas were for immigrants and which were Italian (tbh, same has applied for every Western European country I've visited). This applies mainly to North Italy (Milan, Torino, Venice etc). Rome seemed very Roman, only a few street scammers from Africa and Southern Italy also seemed very Italian.

There are such countries with different ethnic groups that do not see themselves in contact for various reasons and I live in such country.
    What's your problem with that?
You can't make different people to communicate by force, and even more absurd to mix interracial again by political acts, or do you think that's normal?
Where is the problem in the existence of different ethnic groups with their unique cultures and customs within a state?

Nice to finally talk to a Swede. I really like Swedish music. At the same time, I wanted to ask you do you feel about a lot of White Americans saying, "Guys, look at Sweden!" I remember going to Breitbart news and seeing all the "patriots" saying, "Sharia law in Sweden coming." "We don't want that for America!" "America will turn into Sweden if we don't act now!'

I don't know why most white americans obsessed over Sweden over other European countries. There was even one American friend who went to the mall in Sweden and said, "Look at all the Muslims.' They are very weird people out there. Just wanted to hear your take, is any of it true or it is propaganda? Why all the focus on Sweden?
