For what it's worth, my Greek friend* gets 3.4% Ashkenazi and 10.8% Sephardic Jewish-North African... He hasn't got any relatively recent known Jewish ancestors though...

They chose you, to join their group
    Joking, is quite strange.

For me, yes. At no cost, they told me I was part of an Ashkenazi genetic group with "high confidence". What a deal!

This makes it likely you do have Jewish ancestry.

They definitely seem to give that category out to people that have no Jewish ancestry. I'm a case in point. I don't have it in calculators or any other results. Both myself and mother get it on MyHeritage but no GCs like Daco above.

    These are all my GCs.

    Mother's result

    These are all her GCs

Papertrail goes back to late 1700s and no non-Irish. Surnames are all British Isles including Norman surnames.

Since the Romans destroyed their temple, Europe and Russia have been their main destinations, often changing their surnames to blend in with the Goyim, succeed in business, not mention religion to them, intermarry into their families, so, no surprise to find 5% or more Jewish dna in many Christians.
