Dear Spaniards, what's your opinion on Greeks?

It would be interesting to know what the opinion of Spanish users here think about Greece and the Greeks.

I answer that question before in other thread. In my opinion (my humble opinion) true brave and honorable Greeks were those that lived in ancient ages. Hellenestic /Macedonian admirable literature, architecture, philosophy, military heroes and olympic feats. They have a very-good looking phenotype as ancient sculpture depicts (as well as modern athletes), and they have left to western world very important legacy along the Ancient Romans.

As for now.,I truly think you have a bunch of incompetent government leaders and you have lost your real identity. Not getting along with Turkish does not benefit you in any way. Please try to rebuild your country and be more competent, you have and extraordinary history people and legacy. 1/2

Btw these days searching for related records and investigating with family help I could contact with my maternal grand-mother and told me that his Grand-father was a Venezuelan Greek inmigrant who was from The Biterna's family, a Greek surname. Later married with a Colombian(his mom). 2/2

Really good. In fact, it's excellent. I really love Spanish culture. And the achievements of Spain have been a lot. I really love the era of the Spanish Empire as always. The history of Castille, Aragon, Galicia and all the Spanish kingdoms and finally, the united Spanish monarchy, the Catholic Monarchy are fascinating. And the will, might and smartness of Spaniards are showing by the extent of their empire. But one mistake is that you should colonise the Americas in Criollo style and I mean that Spaniards should have colonised the Americas en masse. That way, it would be like Spain, and it would truly be developed.

The southern cone countries (Argentina, Chile and Uruguay) are the closest thing to "transplanted from Spain" Latin American countries. They are the most developed Latin American countries, and when it comes to their ancestry, Argentina is racially as much Spanish descent as US is British descent (Italian background in Argentina would have a similar role as German background in the US ). Then, Uruguay is almost like a Spain 2.0. They (like Argentina) mostly descend from Spaniards and Italians, but Spanish ancestry is noticeably higher in Uruguay than Italian. And then, Chile is a mostly mestizo country, but the bulk of its population (in most of that country) has higher Spanish than Amerindian mixture (being the indo-mestizos very minority), aside that it also has a decent percentage of whites/criollos, that could be as much as 30% of the Chilean population. As a plus the Spanish Chilean accent is surprisingly similar to the Spanish accent spoken in Andalusia, Spain.

And also, besides the southern cone, Paraguay, most of the Colombian/Venezuelan Andes, the Costa Rican Central Valley, and parts of Northern and Western Mexico also have a similar demography to that of Chile (a mostly Euro mestizo population with more Spanish than Amerindian mixture, plus a decent percentage of whites/criollos).

Edit: I forgot to mention Puerto Rico, that like Chile, Paraguay etc, the bulk of its population is 60+% Spanish mixed, but is like an Euro-leaning triracial version of Chile, Paraguay, etc.(its non-Euro ancestry is black and Amerindian, unlike in Chile, Paraguay, the Colombian/Venezuelan Andes, etc, where the non-Euro ancestry is only Amerindian). And I also forgot Cuba, that has lots of full Spanish/mostly Spanish descent people, but also has too many blacks and mulattoes.
