How important is religion for Polish people?

Depends on generation. But even atheists in deeply catholic state will be catholic atheists.

I agree with Viridian1 in matter of how important is religion in Poland. In my opinion young people don't follow religion that much because Church seems to take to much money as the asking guy said in the video but also about popculture where being religious doesn't really matter.
About grandpa he told the truth that religion is important and it's a fundamental thing for our identity(if we would be Orthodox we would be most likely called East Slavs, little copy of Russians ect), but it doesn't mean that all bishops can get as much money as they want for a fancy cars, especially when there are some local churches that may need some financial help but it's more important for bishop to have Mercedes and praise good politicial party.
