Well, surname of my father is commonest among Bosnian (Hercegovina to be more precise) Serbs so I suppose this is correct.
About my mom, she is full Serb but her surname is present among Serbs and Croats in same proportion so this is not wrong too.

that has no sense, polish surname Gajda can be of Baltic origin (polonised) from Gaidys (Lithuanian) or Gaidis (Latvian) but instead of that it could caused something like Bularian Gayda or Albanian Gajde
