Dad's Army was quite funny. So I guess that is better.

Also one scene where Rene was saying something about he and his brother coming from Nancy: 'Yes, we were both Nancy boys' The only line from Allo Allo that stuck in my head.

Allo Allo over dads army. Dads army ran almost a decade and finished for 5 more years before Allo Allo debuted. A different generation of humour.

Dad's army was more wholesome and had more rounded characters. Much better written.

Still, Helga and Herr Flick get my vote 'Allo 'Allo wins.

Wow. I thought Allo Allo was a big thing in Britain. Here it was / kinda still is as it is reguraly being aired on various tv channels even now. Meanwhile it's possibly the first time I ever come across Dad's Army sheer existence, or at least I am pretty sure I've never watched it.
