I don't think you know that Germanic peoples in general take their grudges far more seriously than other peoples. Like, the lawspeaker for example will never forgive the Berbers for example for their role in the Barbary sex slave trade that had enslaved millions of European women and sold them to the Ottoman empire and so on. The same can be said about the Eastern Slavs and their resentment against the Crimean Tatars and their role in the sex slave trade of Slavic women to the Muslims.

A simple "fuck you" can be shrugged off but we never forget. For more serious stuff, we hardly ever forgive. How is she a European citizen if she has no clue on how European societies even work again? Even the European expats here know and respect the local customs and traditions. Few, if any, Turkish migrants ever identified as Dutch. Only when it suits their immediate needs.

I know quite a few half Dutch half Turks here and they all identify as Turks. It's a choice of least resistance since society sees them as Turks. Turks accept them as Turks without question, Dutch dont accept them as Dutch so.
