Why do North Africans always get singled out in this discussion? It's a lot more complex actually. For example North Africans are genetically closer or equally close to Saudis/bedouins than Iranians are for example.
Same goes for Greeks.

Which has always been my main point as to why this "MENA" label is absolutely nonsensical if not downright retarded. Neighboring, or at least nations with very close proximity with one another can have large genetic and even cultural disparities with one another. You lump North Africa into a mix and it's one big clusterfuck of nonsense. A "MENA" label for Iranians makes far less sense than a "MECA"(Mid East Central Asia). A MENA label for Northern West Asians makes less sense than a "MESE"(Mid East and S. Europe).
