Nevertheless, the percentage is still higher than many other boroughs. The whitest borough of all in London is Havering, which is a mainly lower-middle class borough sandwiched between Barking & Dagenham and Essex.

Yes I do understand White flight, and that definitely is a factor. But it is also the case that, contrary to the 'pan-White' narrative spouted on this forum, Eastern Europeans are not only among the most numerous recent immigrants here but also often among the poorest and least wanted.

some of them have climbed into the landing gear area of parked Airliners, that fly to Europe. They usually pass out for lack of oxygen at 40,000 feet, then when the landing gear opens on approach they fall out and hit the ground. A Domincan man actually survived a flight from there to Miami. I don't know about NYC or Paris, but Barking & Dagenham is one of the whitest boroughs in London

I struggle to believe this. I've been around that area for school/travel since 2011 and it was filled to the brim with South Asians + Africans
