Known ancestry is German (at least 50%), some Danish, some British/Irish. These results are pretty accurate, down to the regional level. For the most part. My English ancestry is actually not colonial but comes from a 19th century immigrant from Middlesbrough. The North Yorkshire and Cumbria percentages will probably be slightly higher, and there is probably some conflation going on with the East Anglian and southern English: Probably some common relatedness, plus again, this man is not 100% British (no more than 25%, per my reckoning)
The East Germanic selection is spot on, and indeed, my deep paternal side is German from Mecklenburg. The Baltics percentage was the only "unexpected" component. There is some possibility there is perhaps some East Prussian or Baltic German in there? Hmm...
Thoughts, amigos?
