From the Archives: O.J. Simpson’s Ex-Wife and friend Ronald Simpson Found Stabbed to Death

After so many years this morning was the first time I ever saw the pictures of both dead. I also read a lot about the circumstances and how everything happened.

I always had the impression she got killed because of having an affair with the man, but nah, they were just friends and he was in the wrong location at the wrong time and scene.

Please discretion advice.

I was tired too. Just didn't know so many details nor had seen pictures of the dead bodies before. It was a horrendous crime.

They were already divorced. O.J. was simply obsessed with that woman. The guy killed was just her friend and was returning something she left at the restaurant. Nobody really know what exactly happened but it's speculated that the dude arrived in the middle of the scene or right after. He was only 25.

Garchetti moved the trial from the burbs (where the crime occurred) into the city so that the jury would be black = automatic acquittal.
He wanted to avoid another mass riot, Rodney King 1992, that would have occurred with a guilty verdict. OJ is guilty as can be.

I've been reading about that and it seems that's the main reason why he wasn't declared guilty. Also, most of the jury was black.

But why there would be riots because of O.J.'s decision? I thought most people back then knew he was guilty.

No idea what % of blacks thought he was guilty or innocent. But they would have rioted if the verdict was guilty.
