Lot of things but Serbian politicians (especially president and government) are definitely worst thing in Serbia, they should be exterminated like rats.

The self hatred of the Greek Millennial generation for things that aren't even bad. They act like in the subreddit r/firstworldproblems, but x1000 worse. They literally whip themselves saying "Greece is the worst at everything".

it's true but the politicians reflect the population who elected them. this is not always the case but in Romania it is.

*Islam, Islamists, the arch Islamist, Islamic Immigrants, pretty much anything directly or indirectly related to Islam. Ramadan, Eid-al-Adha and Edhan in particular.
*The fact that a banalized nationalism is used to cover up all the shortcomings of any societal system, making sure that nothing can progress adequately.
*Almost non-existant rule of law.
*Did I mention Islam?

Yes, there are a lot of things that need to be redone / start from scratch, but the main thing is to take into account the previous experience and do it as smoothly as possible, without shocks for the population.
I'm sure the people at the top understood that.
