Why the Middle East is undeveloped?

For me the Middle East just another way of saying Western Asia but yeah anyway vote please.

Tribalism, religious dogma and a poor work ethic? People I have spoken to who have lived in the wealthy Gulf Arab countries say how lazy many of the local Arabs are - they see using their hands as something dirty and beneath them. Were it not for oil and the influx of foreign workers - be they manual and domestic workers from South/SE Asia or professionals from the West - chances are the Gulf Arab countries would be barely if at all wealthier than most of Sub-Saharan Africa.

I think that all of it ties together. I think that different races and even sub-races have natural ways of being, natural tendencies. If we can say that alcoholism is more common among Slavic people due to genetic reasons, then things like aggression and work ethic can be more common due to genetics as well. I think that Islam came from the natural way of being of these people. If they didn't have Islam, they'd think up something else that fits their way of being. I think the Middle East is underdeveloped because the people there have a tendency to engage in behaviors that make it underdeveloped. But if people with a genetic tendency to drink can overcome it, they don't really have an excuse either. Islam and Christianity both tend to take different forms in different places, and this is due to the way of being of the people there.

No, but Western Europeans don't have half a century's worth of socialism to clean up after. I also never used the words "genetically inferior" or any variation of them. People are simply different, and we make of it what we want to.
