I think a lot of people don't get that. Women absolutely need a way out when SHTF. Men do too. Maybe not to the ridiculous degree that it is today, but still. Like, women in Greece are indeed paid in the same amount as men. And constitute half our workforce. That's what the international equality index says (or something else is called, idk, idc). The only thing bringing us down is "access to power" aka women in government and parliament. In this, I'm glad we don't have many women in power here.

I honestly think there's nothing wrong with working women. With the way the modern world is structured, we're unlikely to return to the times where women had to do all of the laundry by hand and take care of all of the farm animals while their 7 underage children all have no choice but to help out or they'd all starve. At this point, being home with kids is a luxury, as very few families can afford it without forcing themselves into poverty. Times have changed - I don't want to see female firefighters, but I'm fine with female accountants and teachers lol. And as long as they live honorable lives, there's nothing wrong with that. But female leadership is a bit iffy for sure. The Muslims were right about that one. I know three Greek women and two of them are complete liberal diarrhea, one throwing furniture at another relative because the relative didn't support Black Lives Matter... not sure I want that running through a parliament
