As we all know, Spain and Portugal are strong allies/friends, but in a hypothetical war, who would win?

Countries that sell us weapons and fuel would win probably.

Without foreign aid, I suppose that Spain would finally win, simply because our army is larger and we start from a strategically advantageous situation, we have greater tactical depth, greater population, and similar military technology. With external aid, everything would depend on the quantity and quality of the aid, and on the possible blockades made by each of his allies.

Extremadura has 1 million people vs 700k in whole Alentejo (Baixo and Alto). As far as equipment goes i'm not sure but i think there are no bases in Alentejo.
The forcados (bullfighters) of Montemor are famous for their bravery so maybe they would make the difference here, i don't know.

Yes, there is probably a war Portuguese and Spaniards will be fighting in the future: Civil War and Reconquista 2.0, or else both of us will fucking disappear.

Spain would rape Portugal, but it's not alogical since their population is much different also the size. Spain also has neighbours, Portugal not so funding fuel etc would be much much easier for Spain.

Really ? So why haven't they managed to rape Portugal in their whole History even when the population difference was 7 to 1 ?

Anyway this is a stupid thread, our people's will have to ally in the future like we did in the Reconquista.
