Do there exist any parts of Brazil where they have somewhat significant Spanish ancestry? I heard users here mention significant Portuguese ancestry in Spanish American countries lie Venezuela, so I'm wondering if there are parts of Brazil where there is a decent amount of Spanish ancestry. Besides Portuguese ancestry, I've heard a lot about German and North Italian ancestry in Brazil, but not about Spanish ancestry there. How common is it? Was there ever migration of a significant scale of Spaniards to Brazil? If Brazilians have Spanish ancestry, I guess it would be indirect Spanish ancestry from Spanish-speaking lands in the Americas. But would there be any Spanish ancestry directly from Spain at all?
