    Not at all my dear, lots of new christians were sent or voluntary migrated to Brazil, but technically they were not jews.

    Regarding gypsies perhaps Spain did the same and they have a gypsy pop a lot larger, also moriscos...Anyway I wouldn't trust genetic test averages that don't cover even 0.1% of the populations. People (especially newcomers) often debate about those issues like there is certainties when it's not the case at all, we are very far from an advance methodology and significant samples.

    Segundo a Wikipedia o Brasil tem cerca de 800 mil ciganos. Em São Paulo a maioria até está bem na vida, penso que atualmente não são uma etnia muito estigmatizada, mas não conheço em profundidade.

    Judeus estariam junto aos Portugueses e Espanhóis nas cidades coloniais e são difíceis de rastrear, acredito que nunca fizeram diferença. Um português imigrante teria que se casar com uma Índia (população livre) na falta de uma mulher branca e os Holandeses no nordeste faziam o mesmo.

    Ciganos (antigos) somente vi na Bahia e parecem viver isolados como fazem na Europa. Estão ma mesma categoria para o governo com os quilombolas (negro fugitivo o ex-escravo).



    Deve ter cigano que migrou para o Brasil. Parte da cultura de musica e dança dos espanhóis vem dos "Gypses"

    acho isso difícil pq os brasileiros são abertamente racista contra ciganos! sem falar que muitos deles vivem em acampamentos e não tem nem documentos!

    Não seria racismo e sim preconceito, falta de documentos e analfabetismo pode ser uma opção deles. Os ciganos romenos nos EUA, alguns são analfabetos. Existem outras comunidades semelhantes pelo mundo que governo tenta não interferir no seu modo de vida.
