Yeah it is pretty mindblow statistic eventho you can start to bitch that most of these medals have been won way back, but still total medal count is ridiculous for country Finland-sized.

You mean in track&field? Best events for Finland are probably Men's Javelin throw: 7 golds, 8 silver, 7 bronze.

Then Men's 10 000 metres: 7 golds, 4 silver, 4 bronze

and Men's 5000 metres: 7 golds, 4 silver, 3 bronze

Outside track and field, historically successful event for Finland is Greco-Roman wrestling where Finland stands third in all time medal table
